Hi lovely!

My name is Anna Scammell.

I’m a Masters-trained Women’s Health & Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist and graduated top of my class (yep, I can be a total geek!) I am also a trained Pilates Instructor. So let’s just say you’re in very good hands!!

When can I start The Pregnancy Academy?

The sooner the better of course, but if you’re in your third trimester you’re absolutely going to get so many gold nuggets to optimise the remainder of your pregnancy, prepare you for birth, & set you up for the best recovery possible.

How does the program work?

Once you sign up you will get a login & password sent to your email so you can access the Academy immediately!

What do I need to do the program?

Yourself & your laptop, ipad or phone. Convenient hey?!

Can I still use the program if I’m in the later part of my pregnancy?

You bet! And I highly recommend you do. You will learn so many value bombs to make the last weeks of your pregnancy the best, prepare your mind & body for birth, and get you totally prepared for postpartum.

Is the program cheaper if I‘m in my third trimester?

No, I’m afraid. Let me explain – I created this program to be suitable for you to use at ANY stage of your pregnancy. Every single module is 100% necessary information for you to know in any trimester.

Learning this information will set you up to feel more empowered & confident leading into birth & early postpartum- this is priceless!  

Is this program only for first time mums?

Definitely not! Just because you’ve done it before doesn’t mean you know all there is to know. This program is for the first time mum through to the 11th time mum (yes, one of my clients had 11 children!!!)

There is so much information women miss out on which can totally change their pregnancy & postpartum experience. That is why I created this one stop shop.

What's the time committment?

Most videos are between 10-30 minutes long. Whilst there are some modules that are longer than others, I just had to provide you as much value as possible! You will never regret the time you invest in this program, I assure you!

I highly recommend you watch the videos, but if you’re really struggling with time, then you can just download the Summary Sheets.

Will I get homework?

Not exactly. I’m not going to test you or anything crazy like that!

The idea is that I empower you with knowledge & then you start implementing my advice into your life. Obviously the more you implement, the better your experience.

What if I am not satisfied with the program?

Not possible! Haha 😉 Whilst I think this program is the bees knees, I understand that I can’t please everyone. If you are unsatisfied with the program then I will refund your money, no worries.

Is this an exercise program?

It is so much more! While the program includes 6 awesome Pilates videos for you to do throughout your pregnancy, there is so much more that you need to know! That’s why the program is an educational platform as well.

Can’t I just wait until after I have my baby?

Noooooo!!!! This is a common mistake I see so many women make.

If you wait until after you’ve had your baby to look after yourself, you will make life so much harder for yourself.

Does this program replace seeing a Women’s Health Physio in person?

No, no & no. Having a 1:1 appointment with a qualified Women’s Health Physio is nothing short of essential. Why? Because whilst The Pregnancy Academy will teach you SO MUCH about your pelvic floor & core muscles, unfortunately I can’t assess you through the screen!

It really is crucial that you see a Women’s Health Physio in your pregnancy (at any stage but ideally in your second trimester) so they can assess your pelvic floor muscles & make sure you are activating them correctly.

Can I have a 1:1 consult with you?

You bet you can! Email me at anna@thewholemother.com to organise

If you live in Sydney, you have 2 options:

  • Clinic: You can book an appointment at Sevenways Health Centre in North Bondi on 9365 4059.
  • Home visits: I bring the appointment to your home (inner suburbs around Sydney). So if you find it hard to make appointments or you have a toddler at home, this option is for you!

If you live outside of Sydney:

  • Online Consults: We connect over the Internet & I can give you individualized advice & education. If you’re rural or overseas & don’t have access to a Women’s Health Physio, this option is for you!

Ladies, your pelvic floor & core muscles are the foundation of a strong, functioning body during pregnancy & postpartum! Without the knowledge & exercises I provide in this module, you could be wetting yourself or have an organ descend into your vagina after birth. Graphic I know, but it happens to 50% of women!

Safe Exercise

This module will teach you the truth about safe exercise for you, your unborn baby & your pelvic floor. You will learn why exercise in pregnancy is so important, which types you should (& shouldn’t) do, how often & at what intensity.

Abdominal Separation

Game-changing information on what you can do during your pregnancy to minimise your abdominal muscle separation – what every postpartum woman with stomach separation wishes she knew during her pregnancy.

Module 4:

Back & Pelvic Pain

Despite popular belief, there is so much you can do to manage your back, pelvic, hip or rib pain during pregnancy. Find out everything you need to do to stay active without being in pain – hooray!

Pilates Classes

Support Crew

Having a support crew of practitioners throughout your pregnancy, birth & postpartum will make your journey a smoother one. I will introduce you to some essential practitioners who will support, educate & empower you during the most transformational time in your life.

Module 10:

Birth Preparation

Fourth Trimester
